About Health Assessment Tests

For your healthcare needs, Magnolia Family Medicine has made available the following health assessment tests. Ask your doctor on your next visit, or schedule an appointment.  Our Magnolia location is open till 7 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 3 pm on weekends.

 

Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA) is a scale that provides body composition information (muscle, fat, water) to determine appropriate nutrition and exercise especially for patients who seek long-term weight loss management. 

Diabetic Retinal Eye Exam is a specialized test to check for eye problems such as retinopathy and glaucoma, conditions that if not addressed early might cause vision loss or blindness. 

Diabetic Health Foot Exam is a comprehensive inspection and assessment of foot pulses, sensation, and reflexes, as well as skin condition.

Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) is a non-invasive procedure to assess the presence and severity of peripheral artery disease (PAD) by comparing blood pressure in the ankles and arms.

Spirometry is used to assess lung function when diagnosing asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseas (COPD), and pulmonary fibrosis. It is also used to monitor the progression of lung diseases as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.

Autonomic Nervous System test (ANS) assesses involuntary bodily functions such as heart rate and blood pressure in response to changes in a patient's breathing and posture. It can also provide baseline data on a patient's general health as well as check for any dysfunction.

Aortic Aneurysm Screening is a way to check for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) which is a leading cause for mortality and morbidity but often goes undiagnosed until later stages.

 

CCM and RPM

Aside from our health assessment tests, patients can also sign up for our Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.

Managing chronic conditions can be challenging. We help you get on the road to better health to reduce hospital visits and health complications. We also provide remote support that fits your schedule to help you manage your health by assisting with the following:

Remote Patient Monitoring

With our hassle-free Tracko app, health providers will be able to monitor and analyze your vitals between office visits and can alert your family and loved ones based on your levels.
